pod2g is almost done with his untethered jailbreak for iOS 5.1.1 or previous versions. he is just in the trial phase which would show him if there’s any bugs or difficulties on a certain device. Till now we have confirmed that an untethered jailbreak would work on the new iPad , iPad 2 and iPad 1.

The new untethered jailbreak for iOS 5.1.1 is to be expected in 2 weeks according to pod2g who released the information about the release earlier today. And he also answered the frequently asked questions by all the jailbreakers anticipating the big release of this new jailbreak for iOS 5.1.1.
pod2g is expected to issue the final list of the surely working devices with his new jailbreak, and also the one which would not be supported anytime now. We will post the final list for working devices once it’s released.
