Download RedSn0w 0.9.11b4 With 5.1.1 For Windows / Mac OS X

Great news for A4 devices holders who recently updated to iOS 5.1.1. Another iteration has been released for RedSn0w 0.9.11, the new 0.9.11b4 version comes to support 5.1.1 firmware, so now you can do a full tethered jailbreak on your iPad 1, iPhone 4 and iPod Touch 4G.

The iPhone Dev Team has been working tirelessly on their amazing Jailbreak software, RedSn0w. The update comes with a punch of improvements and bug fixes.

We recently reported to you that RedSn0w got updated to 0.9.11b2 which added the support of 9A406 of 5.0.1 for the iPhone4S. The b4 update came straight after the b3, we actually didn’t get the chance to notice their was even a b3, due to the fast updated taken by iPhone Dev Team.

This the complete information for both updates the 0.9.11b3 and b4 :

Version 0.9.11b3 should fix the spurious “Restore failed” messages people were sometimes getting, and it behaves better with nearby devices that have wifi syncing enabled!

Version 0.9.11b4 completes the tethered JB support for 5.1.1 on A4 devices and earlier, including proper “Stitching” and “Custom” creation of NO_BB IPSWs.
